Kansas State University’s Salina Campus is legally changing its name after years of revision.
Previously named Kansas State University Polytechnic Campus, the school is choosing to revert to identifying with its location.
CEO and Dean of K-State - Salina Alysia Starkey says in 2020, stakeholders pushed for the name change.
Over the last 3 years, the rebranding process has taken place on campus.
Dean Starkey says there is sound reasoning behind the change.
